The beach is located, about 1.5 km from Cherating, north
of Kuantan, and to the border of Terengganu and Pahang.
The beach is well known for its green turtles and the giant
leatherback turtles which come from the sea to the beach
every year between the month of May and October to lay eggs.
Besides the turtles, Chendors Beach offers some fine bathing
spots, for those seeking for peace and seclusion.
