Great architecture and spectacular settings in the Petronas
Twin Towers are combined in Galeri Petronas, Malaysia's
first international class, fine-art gallery which overlooks
the fountains and the paved forecourt of the KLCC.
Since 1993, the new Galeri Petronas has provided a top
class venue for over 50 exhibitions. At 2,000 square meters,
it makes the most of the tower's circular architecture,
utilizing the natural textures of granite, concrete, aluminium,
steel and glass to create a striking backdrop for the display
and contemplation of art.
Facilities include computerized environmental controls
and sophisticated lighting systems, and sliding panels to
create smaller spaces. In addition, the gallery hosts three
workshops and an art resource center.
