Pulau Duyung

Pulau duyung is the most famous boat building ground here,
in Terengganu, the art has been passed down from generation
to generation. Here, you can see boats and yatchs being built
by skilled boats builders, using famed rainforest hardwood
without any modern equipment and plans.
The community living here in Pulau Duyung are also involve
in dried and salted fish crackers industries. Getting here
is easily accessible through the Sultan Mahmud Bridge, or
from the Kuala Terengganu waterfront. |
