Also known as Redang Island, the island offers some of
the best diving and snorkeling activities in South East
Asia with its rich variety of coral reef life, white sandy
beaches and clear turquoise waters. Redang is one of the
islands, located off the State of Terengganu. It is still
relatively unspoiled.
This provides excellent opportunities for snorkeling, scuba
diving, jungle trekking coupled with a range of other sports
to keep you occupied or just relaxing along the glistening
white beaches. The largest of Terengganu's archipelagoes,
Pulau Redang is the center of a large-scaled marine park.
As one of the few marine parks in Malaysia, Redang and its
underwater inhabitants are protected by the Fisheries Act
(1985).
