Situated offshore and to the southeast of mainland Pahang,
the island has been declared among one of the ten best island
beaches in the world. It is a beautiful island surrounded
by beautiful white sandy beaches and clear blue water. The
Pulau Tioman Archipelago which is off Pahang is set amidst
secluded palm-fringed beaches, crystal clear waters and
colorful marine life.
The island is a perfect setting for an exclusive privacy.
Besides enjoying the scenery, water sports such as swimming,
wind surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and boating are among
the favorites here. The temperature is between 28 to 31
degree celsius. Diving is generally available from March
to October, however there could be scattered shower during
the months of June and July. Getting to the island is accessible
through catching a boat ride from Mersing in Johor to the
island.
