Desa Craft
Formerly known as "Usaha Desa", this is an interesting handicraft centre which showcases songket, brassware, batik, souvenir items and also fashion wear of current batik designs. This centre was developed by the Terengganu State Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) as part of its effort to promote Kuala Terengganu as a popular tourist destination.


Handicraft Centre (Center)
The Handicraft Centre in Teluk Chempedak is a showcase of handicrafts from all over the state. Finely woven pandanus household articles, woodcarving, shellcraft, exquisite gold and silver brocades and much more are available at bargain prices. Beautifully printed batik is also available in a variety of eye catching designs.


Mid Valley Megamall
Among many, the largest to be said retail, entertainment and food centers, the Mid Valley Megamall, is Asia's leading shopping center. Houses department stores, restaurants, and entertainment areas.

Located strategically, on highways that link to all major roads. The Mid Valley Megamall is set to be an international shopping center, and is also a step towards transforming Kuala Lumpur into a city of excellence.


Sunshine Square
This ambitious project by Suiwah Supermarket Sdn Bhd is the largest supermarket and departmental store to be operated by the group here. Located at the junction of Jalan Mahsuri and Jalan Mayang Pasir in the bustling Bayan Baru township, the complex boasts of a bowling alley, two ultra-modern cineplexes, a hawkers' complex and a children's entertainment center.
