The most prominent structure in Shah Alam is the massive
emerald dome that looms dominantly in the skyline. This
is the renowned mosque which has the reputation for being
the largest mosque in South East Asia. It also has the biggest
dome in the world. Before entering the holy premise, one
has to dress according to the Islamic dress code. Suitable
attire for visitors are provided at the Main Entrance. This
is followed by a "cleansing" session in the ablutions room
that is equipped with 560 pipes regulated by electricity.
