Nestled in Klang Valley, the complex compromises of a 360-degree
ring of eye catching modern buildings surrounding the theme
park. The 800 acres piece of land on which Bandar Sunway
is located was originally mined by dredges. This first international
theme park, provides leisure and entertainment to the fast
growing community.
The premier theme park comprises of the Waterpark, Adventure
Park and Fort Lagoon. Despite these attractions, new attractions
and facilities are constantly being added, and upgraded.
This award winning theme park attracts visitors from far
and wide, the record being 35,000 visitors in a single day.
The theme park is also an ideal venue for functions such
as, charity events, family day, and others.
The park has been opened to the public through stages.
The first phase, that is the Waterpark, was completed in
1992 and was unveiled to the public in 1992. The second
phase, Adventure Park, was opened to the public in 1994,
and the third phase, the Fort Lagoon Wild Wild West, which
began its operations in the 1995. Sunway Lagoon theme park
is easily accessible through a network of connecting expressways.
