On the fringe of the city centre and accessible from both
Jalan Pahang and Jalan Tun Razak lies this popular recreational
park amongst city folk. Its placid lake support a host of
watersports activities. Facilities include a jogging track,
tennis courts, a children's playground and rowing boats
for hire. The quiet serenity is enhanced by the variety
of trees and flowering shrubs and stone benches, strategically
placed along the water's edge - a welcome break for tired
feet, while a floating restaurant serves good Malay food.
A short distance away along Jalan Tun Razak is BAKATKRAF,
the exhibition and sales centre for an interesting array
of handicraft items produced by the wives of Armed Forces
personnel.
