With exhibits tracing the development of naval forces in
Singapore from the Straits Settlements Royal Volunteer Reserve
of the 19th century to today's Republic of Singapore Navy,
the Singapore Navy Museum is well worth a visit.
There are exhibits to capture the attention of general interest
visitors and military enthusiasts alike - antique marine
equipment, historic photographs and even details of the
sophisticated, high technology missile corvette vessels.
Admission is free, although you are required to bring along
your passport, for security resons. The museum is open from
8:30am - 4:30pm on Monday to Friday, and from 8:30am - 12
noon on Saturdays.
