The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, in elegant Ming Dynasty
architectural style, is dedicated to the late President
Chiang Kai-shek, as one may observe from the huge bronze
statue of the late President in the main building. Located
in the heart of the city, the memorial hall is flanked by
two elegant cultural establishments, the National Theater
and The National Concert Hall, with almost daily performances.
The landscaped gardens, graceful pavilions and placid ponds
attract people morning through night to hold various activities.
The concert hall has been honored by world-renowned artists
and the theater has been the scene of Chinese as well as
Western operas, dramas and ballets.
