Carriacou's Carnival Celebrations
Grenada, 15th - 16th February, 2000
Carnival on the sister island is held at the pre-lenten time.
Music fills the air during the two days of the Parade of the
Bands. Prior to this there is a kiddies carnival, and competitions
to select the King and Queen of the Mas Bands, and the Calypso
Monarch.

St. Mark's Day Fiesta
Grenada, 18th - 24th April
The seaside town of Victoria, in St. Mark's parish, comes
alive with local exhibits of arts/crafts and agricultural
produce together with cultural performances and a street festival.

Spice Jazz Festival
Grenada, 20th - 23th May
The Second Annual Festival would include food, music and arts
and crafts.

Fisherman's Birthday Celebrations
Grenada, 29th June, 2000
Gouyave in the parish of St. John, is the most popular town
for this celebration. Church services and the blessing of
fishermen's boats and nets, followed by boat races and late
afternoon street festivals.

Carriacou Parang Festival
Grenada, 17th - 19th December, 2000
A music Festival and Cultural Extravaganza celebrated throughout
the Sister Isle.
