In the late fall, lamb and cabbage stew is a popular Sunday dinner dish. Consist of sliced lamb shoulder, neck, or breast on the bone, cabbage, salt, black peppercorns, boiling water, flour and cold water.

This dish consist of one stewing hen which is poached lightly in salted water about 90 minutes, butter, flour, salt, white pepper, curry powder, grated rind orange, whipping cream, and parsley.

This dish consist of boneless sea trout fillet, fish heads and bones, leek, tomatoes, cucumber, chopped dill, juice of 1 lemon, cognac, butter, flour, concentrated fish stock, and 35 percent of fat sour cream.

Skinless and boneless cooked fish is used in this type of dish. Chunks of fish are mixed into a thick white sauce enriched with beaten egg, then the mixture is poured into a greased ovenproof dish and sprinkled with crumbs. It is usually baked in a water bath. Leftovers of cooked fresh, lightly salted or smoked fish can be prepared in this way.

Consist of margarine, flour, fat milk, salt, freshly ground white pepper, ground nutmeg, flaked cooked fish, eggs, breadcrumbs, and butter.

Strawberry cake roll is delicious with a cup of coffee or topped with ice cream. This desert consist of eggs, full fat milk sugar, flour, melted butter, strawberries, and confectioner's sugar.
