The Palace of count Jan Palffy stands at the site of an
original Romanesque house. During the last reconstruction,
rare find of a Celtic settlement were unearthed.
The palace serves as the Bratislava Art Gallery and includes
representative rooms of the Mayor of Bratislava.
The permanent exhibition displays interesting Gothic paintings
on glass, sculptures, works of Dutch and Flemish painters
as well as Italian masters.
