National Park of Nelson

Experience yourself in the south of Nelson city, one of the outmost National parks of the Southern Alps.This park is centered on two beautiful Alpine Lakes, that are Rotoiti and Rotoroa, both surrounded by steep mountains and beach forest.
The wonderful lakeside tracks and short walks in the area including the Black Valley Walk, Mount Robert, St Arnaud Range Track, Peninsula Nature Walk and Whisky Falls.
During winter season, St Arnaud Village offers ice skating in two beautiful ski fields, Rainbow Valley Ski and Mount Robert Skifield.

Also including in this park is the Matakitaki and Glenroy Valleys. These two valleys offers remote experience for the more adventurous.
Lake Angelus is a journey to a comfortable hut surrounded by beautiful lakes in the Alpine. And other activities that are found are lakeside relaxing, hunting, climbing, snow sports and fishing.
