Sky Tower

Sky Tower in North Island

At 328 meters, Sky Tower, is New Zealand's tallest structure and most spectacular tourist, boradcasting and telecommunicatons facility. Taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Sydney's AMP Tower, Sky Tower is expectd to attract almost one million visitors each year.

Entry to Sky Tower's lift is through an underground gallery at the base of the tower. Access to the observation and restaurant levels of Sky Tower is via three glass fronted lifts capable of transporting 225 people every 15 minutes. The lift ride from the underground gallery to the main observation level takes a speedy 40 seconds.

The highlights are, the entrance gallery, the main observation level, lower observation level, restaurant, outdoor observation level and the sky deck which features 360 degree views through seamless glass.
