It is located in Taesong-dong, Taesong District, Pyongyang.
Koguryo moved its capital to Pyongyang in 427. From the
mid-3rd century Koguryo built the fort linking several peaks.
The Fort on the Taesong Montains is the biggest one of the
Koryo's forts.
It measures 7,076m round. The total length of the wall is
9,284m and the height 4-5m.
The fort had 20 gates. But the Nam Gate(south gate) remains
and has rennovated.
