Administration
The Philippines is a republic, divided into 72 provinces and 61
chartered cities. The head of state and chief executive is the president,
elected by voters to a six-year term.Its bicameral legislature is
made up of the Senate, with 24 members, and the House of Representatives,
with a maximum of 250 members.
