Situated along the Rio Grande de Mindanao, Catobato City
is said to have been founded in 1371. It was also during
this same year that Islam was introduced to the area.
Places of interest in the city include P.C.Hill, once used
as a look-out point by natives in earlier times, and Kutang
Bato(or stone fort) at the foot of P.C.Hill. Interestingly,
Kutang Bato is the only cave situated in the middle of a
thriving city.
