San-gumburi Crater

San-gumburi Crater in Cheju-do

San-gumburi, one of the three major craters on the island, is located 439m(1,437 ft.) above sea level and 23 km(14.4 miles) east of Cheju City. This crater is home to some 420 different species of subtropical, temperate and alpine plants. In the area are many restaurants serving the traditional food of Chejudo, as well as resting places and ranches for horseback riding and hunting.
