On the eastern tip of Chejudo Island is a
small village, Songsanpo (Fortress Mountain Port), describing
the unusual volcanic cone which dominates the area. Ilchubong
(Sunrise Peak) cone, is one of the 360 parasitic volcanos
that dot the island. Visitors can climb to the top of this
crater and enjoy the spectacular view from there.
