Money
The Bahamian dollar is the basic monetary unit. Notes are available
in denominations of 50 cents, B$1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100, coins
in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 15, 25, and 50 cents, and B$1, 2,
and 5.
Tipping
The usual tip is 15 percent in restaurants, unless a gratuity is
automatically added to the check. If there is no additional service
fee incured, during your stay in the hotel, then tipping is advisable
to bellhops and chambermaids.

9am to 5pm (Monday-Friday)
Banking hours:
9:30am to 3pm (Monday-Thursday) and 9:30am to 5pm (Friday)
Driving
Traffic drives on the left in the Bahamas. Visitors may use their
home licence for up to three months and may also apply for an international
driving permit.
