The Buda Hills are the 'lungs of the city', which was a
major reason for the declaration of protection. It is a
paradise for hikers, with snow-white dolomite and limestone
rocks, steep revins and over 150 caves. The most valuable
rocky grassland are found in the strictly protected Kis-Szenas
and Nagy-Szenas Hills.
