The castle stands on a rock, looking majestically above
the lake capturing spectacular view of the town and countryside.
A romanesque tower stands in the place of the present day
castle in 1004.
Parts of the castle were added within 800 years ago.
The most interesting part of the castle is the Chapel, that
was devoted to the Bishop St. Albuin and St. Ingenium. Now,
the castle is a museum of a large collection from the 16th
to the 18th century.
Besides the ancient armor and weapons, the museum houses
antique jewelry and delicate carvings.
