Old part of Lasko is situated on the left bank of the Savinja,
just below the Hum hill. The town is known by the warm springs
that were known famously during the ancient Rome. It is
also well known for brewery, founded in 1825, as one of
the largest in the country.
Right above the old town, a great old Castle Tabor stands
prefectly. A magnificient view of the whole town and the
outstanding countryside can be seen from the Castle.
The most important cultural monument is Parish Church of
St Martin dating from the 1269.
