Porlamar
Porlamar is the main shopping town with the important stores,
they are distributed along two principal avenues, the 4 de
Mayo and the Santiago Marino avenue, creating a T formation
in the heart of the city.
The Boulevard Guevara and the Boulevard Gomez, in the downtown,
allows visitors to search for better deals. Today, this area
is being redeveloped in order to create a huge cruiseliner
port that will give Margarita a more international posture,
give the downtown a more cosmetic look and add additional
services for the tourist.

Juan Griego
To the north of the island,is the city of Juan Griego, the
second commercial port in Margarita Island, with the majority
of the stores located in its downtown area, offering the best
in international brands. Perfume, footwear, clothing and jewelry
stores with excellent prices.

Margarita Island
Margarita Island has more than 2000 stores, giving credit
to the island as the largest free port in the Caribbean.
The island has liquor stores, jewelry, perfume stores, boutiques,
hyper-markets, malls and many others, most of them representing
well-known international brands.
