Sanur is a mixture bringing together the two worlds of Kuta
and Nusa Dua. There are luxury hotels mixing with some of
the cheaper places to stay. If you do not always want to
'eat in', then there are plenty of restaurants offering
a wide range of meals from the quite expensive through to
the dirt-cheap prices of local warungs.
The beach is safe here as it is sheltered by a reef. There
is an array of water sports, diving, snorkelling, windsurfing,
parasailing, and other marvellous activities you can enjoy
here.
Sanur has everything for the holiday maker and traveler
with its travel agencies, money changers, supermarkets and
shopping, selling everything you need to take back home.
Getting There and Moving Around
By air
Sanur can be accessed by flight from other cities at the
Denpasar airport of Bali which is large, well-organized,
and modern. It has international and domestic flights that
consists of inbound and outbound flights daily to Sumatera
and Java and other cities: Kuta, Legian, Nusa Dua, and Ubud.
By road
There are night buses from Java to Bali. If heading for
Java or any other cities in Sanur, take a taxi or bemo to
Denpasar's Ubung station, which has many bus company offices
you can select from.
There are minibus and taxi services provided for your mobility
in this inspiring city.
If you want more flexibilities to move around Sanur, there
are car rentals available and you can enjoy driving around
the city freely.
